Made sturdy The double coating of cobalt blue glass enriched with zircon, the double-fired lining and the oversized magnesium anode protect the water heater against water corrosion.

Safety plus Each water heater is installed on a drain pan and is equipped with a pressure relief valve and a brass drain valve. We also offer different leak detection systems according to the homeowner’s desired level of protection.
Longer service life The CSA approved bolt-on immersion, low-density elements, the oversized magnesium anode and the NPT factory-installed dielectric fittings extend the tank’s service life.

Specifications

1. Double-coated lining The HydroSolution tank is the only water heater on the market with a double-coated and double-fired glass lining for improved insulation and superior protection against water corrosion, thereby extending the life of the tank.
2. Bottom cold water entry As the water gets hotter, its density decreases. It then becomes lighter and rises to the top of the tank. Since cold water is denser and heavier, it sinks to the bottom. Standard water heaters have a top cold-water entry and when the pressurized cold water enters the tank it disrupts this hot/cold water balance by stirring the thermal layers. The HydroSolution water heater is equipped with a bottom cold water entry, which maintains the cold water layer on the bottom. This instantly produces 10% more hot water and prevents you from having to flush the tank once a year.
3. Heating Elements All HydroSolution models are equipped with bolt-on immersion, low-density elements, made by Giant and approved by the CSA. These elements extend the life span of the water heater and are exclusive to Giant. They are designed to be easily replaced and require no special tool to do so.
4. High-quality magnesium anode The magnesium anode protects the water heater against corrosion. HydroSolution water heaters have a superior quality anode allowing excellent protection against water corrosion, thereby extending the life of the tank.
5. Drain Valve HydroSolution water heaters are equipped with a tamper-resistant brass drain valve for easy drainage.
6. Insulation A thick blanket of Eco-friendly GREENFOAM® insulation keeps the water at the right temperature for longer periods of time, thereby reducing heat loss and energy costs.
