This contest is open to anyone who submits an online or telephone quote for the purchase or rental of a water heater with HydroSolution during the contest period.

The grand prize is $1,750 cash in the form of a cheque. The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged, transferred or converted to any other form of payment, except at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

The “Change your decor with HydroSolution” contest is organized by HydroSolution (the “Contest Organizers”). It will run exclusively in the province of Quebec from January 8 to February 21, 2025, 11:59 p.m. (the “Contest Period”). The draw will take place on March 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.

ELIGIBILITY

This contest is open to Quebec residents aged 18 or over at the time of entry. Employees, agents and representatives of the contest organizers, employees of their advertising and promotional agencies, and suppliers of products and services related to this contest, as well as members of their immediate families (brothers, sisters, children, father, mother), their legal or common-law spouses and all persons with whom these employees, agents and representatives are domiciled, are excluded.

ENTRY

To enter, simply request a quote by filling in the personal information, including a valid e-mail address, before the end of the contest.

No purchase necessary: for those who wish to participate without a purchase, you can write 150 words explaining why you would choose to rent or buy a water heater with HydroSolution. Then send your text by e-mail to the following address [email protected], indicating your last name, first name and telephone number. No other form of registration is available.

You acknowledge having read and accepted the rules of participation available on the site, and you agree to abide by them.

LIMITS

One (1) entry per participant for the duration of the contest.

No purchase necessary.

The contest organizers and their representatives reserve the right to disqualify a person or cancel a person’s entry if he or she participates or attempts to participate in this contest using a means that contravenes these rules or is unfair to other entrants (e.g., computer hacking, false identity, etc.).

The contest organizers and their employees, agents and representatives disclaim all liability for any malfunction of any computer component, software or communication line, for the loss or absence of network communication, or for any transmission that is faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible or erased by any computer or network and that may prevent a person from participating in the contest or limit his or her ability to participate. By entering or attempting to enter this contest, you agree to hold the contest organizers and their employees, agents and representatives harmless from any damages you may incur as a result of entering or attempting to enter this contest.

PRIZE

The prize is a cheque of $1,750. Winners will receive a HydroSolution call and/or e-mail to validate their eligibility. The prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be exchanged, transferred or converted into other forms of payment, except at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

Winners will be notified by e-mail on the days following the draw and must contact HydroSolution within 48 hours of receiving the e-mail, failing which HydroSolution will draw a new winner.

This prize is not exchangeable or convertible to cash, and must be accepted as awarded, in accordance with the conditions of use described on each certificate and may not be transferred to a third party.

In all cases, the contest organizers, their suppliers of products or services related to this contest and their employees, agents and representatives may not be required to award more prizes than those indicated in these rules. They shall not be held liable in the event of loss, theft or misuse of the prize.

The winners release the contest organizers, as well as their subsidiaries, employees, agents and representatives, from all liability for any damage he or she may suffer as a result of accepting or using the prize.

DRAW

CHANCES TO WIN :

One (1) chance per participant for the draw during the contest period.

A random draw will be held on March 10, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the HydroSolution office from among all HydroSolution customers who submitted a water heater quote between January 8th to February 21st, 2025. The winners will be notified by phone or e-mail.

There are no public events related to the draw.

AWARDING THE PRIZE

To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must :

• Contact the contest organizers by e-mail within 48 (forty-eight) hours of the draw. If the selected entrant does not respond within 48 hours, HydroSolution will hold another draw until one entrant is declared the winner;
• Accept prize;
• Correctly answer the following mathematical skill-testing question: (10 – 4) + (1*2) = ______which will be indicated on the Declaration and Release Form provided by the contest organizer;
• Complete, sign and return the Declaration and Release of Liability Form to the contest organizers within two (2) business days of receipt, failing which HydroSolution will hold another draw.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

Failure by a selected entrant to comply with any condition of these rules, or refusal of his/her prize, will result in disqualification. In such a case, a new draw will be held to award the prize, in accordance with the present rules and until a participant is selected and declared a winner. In the event that no winner is declared within five (5) days of the draw, the contest organizers may, at their discretion, cancel the prize.

There will be no communication with entrants regarding this contest, except with the winner.
Entries, declaration and release forms are the property of the contest organizers and will not be returned to entrants.

Unless otherwise specified in these Official Rules, all personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of conducting this contest, in accordance with̀ the privacy policy put forth by the contest sponsor.

Participants agree to abide by these rules and authorize HydroSolution to use their names, places of residence, photographs or images in any publicity, without any form of compensation.

The contest organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this contest, in whole or in part, in the event of any event or human intervention that may corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or conduct of the contest as provided in these rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (RACJ), if required.

Any decision by the contest organizers or their representatives in connection with this contest is final and without appeal, subject to any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (RACJ) on any matter within its jurisdiction. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
